It is time to update you on how my Get Healthy challenge is going! If you missed the last update/recipes to try, you can find it here. So, I am currently on week 5 of the 8 week challenge. I will be totally honest. I have only lost ONE stinkin’ pound. Not that I was wanting to do this challenge just to lose a bunch of weight, but losing weight can be a nice bonus! Even though I haven’t lost much weight, I feel so much better! I have realized that sugar pretty much gives me headaches now. I do like a little sugar on my off day though. Just enough to get the taste. The one thing that I am really struggling with is the exercise. I really enjoy working out, but Harper is SO mobile and busy now it is really hard to work out at home anymore. Do any of you have suggestions for me? By the time I would be able to go to the gym at night, I am tired from chasing after Harper all day, but I do try to go at least once a week.
I have also noticed that I cook a lot more! Not that they are the most healthy meals, but they usually have some sort of vegetables in them and I am not doing out for fast food as often as I was before. That is a huge improvement! I have been making a lot of crock pot meals because they are so dang easy! I wanted to share 8 of my favorites with you today!
This makes eating a salad a little more enjoyable! This salad is super good. It is kind of a mix between Italian and Mexican. It has a lot of Mexican ingredients in it too so it is a nice mixture of tastes.
See? I told you these weren’t all healthy! I love me some cream cheese! This is so creamy and yummy. I love white chili. This is not only super tasty, it is dang easy to make too!
This is a great way to get my pizza fix. I use wheat pasta so I feel like I am being a little more healthy. This is a big hit at my house. It is super good.
This is the easiest thing ever to make! It doesn’t have very many ingredients either which is super awesome. I put it on top of pasta and I was in Italian chicken heaven.
I think that this is Dave’s favorite meal. He was raving about it the entire time we ate and then was excited to take it for lunch the next day AND to eat it for dinner that night too. It really is super good. Harper even ate the broccoli in it! Score!
Miss Paula Deen isn’t really known for her healthy recipes, but they sure are good! There isn’t an ounce of butter in this recipe though! It is one of the easiest things I have ever made and it tastes AWESOME!
Now, I couldn’t survive making any of these crock pot meals without Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners! They are the BEST! They are just bags that go inside your slow cooker so that the food doesn’t get baked onto your crock pot. Best idea ever! I am officially obsessed with them, mostly because I have world’s worst dish washer. They save my life every time I use my crock pot, which is pretty much every day!
For even more crock pot recipes, follow my “Crock Pot Food” board on Pinterest! I have a lot more recipes on there that I haven’t tried yet! What are your go to slow cooker meals?

Yum! I have used the crock pot a lot more since having Logan. I love that you can throw in frozen chicken too, because I always forget to de-frost it early enough. Here are some of my other favorites:*French dip sandwiches*Beef Stroganoff*Cilantro lime chicken tacos https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uMCkmddiKSWgV3PfSIoJNbiDkvohVlrt7HaZklQKX0k/edit*Cranberry chicken (definitely serve over mashed potatoes!)http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-cranberry-chicken/
