I can’t even express to you how therapeutic the warmer temperatures have been lately. Although spring in Idaho is really unpredictable and rarely “warm”, just knowing that the sun is out and the temperatures are a little warmer makes my spirits happy! I like to transition my wardrobe this time of year by mixing and matching items from different seasons. It isn’t even close to being warm enough to wear anything besides pants yet, so pairing jeans with sandals is a good compromise for me.
I love introducing more floral prints this time of year too. Floral prints make me almost has happy as the warmer weather does! I also bring a lot of brighter colors into my wardrobe rotation this time of year too. It helps me forget about the wind storms that make the weather feel chilly 90% of the time!
I can wear bright colors or floral prints basically any time of the year, but I can’t always wear shoes appropriate for this season. That is probably what makes me the most excited about this time of year. I love spring and summer shoes!
These adorable jewel sandals came from Payless. That makes these sandals even better because on top of being totally stylish, they are affordable too. I have always loved getting my seasonal shoes from Payless because I don’t feel like I am making some major investment into a trend that may not stick around for a long time. If I am getting a great deal at Payless, I am more willing to make some fashion risks with my purchases.
So what I want to say is, don’t be surprised when you see these sandals and this blazer on repeat for a while! Like possibly for all of spring and summer. I just can’t help but be excited about these new styles I can wear!
