Pardon the interruption. Just a little thought that has been in my head for a few days now…
Dear Harper,
Thanks for being so patient with your momma. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter little girl. Thank you for being so nice when other people hold you and watch you while I go about my crazy life. Thank you for always smiling at me when I come into the room. Thank you for doing crazy things that make me laugh. Thank you for being so darn squishy. There is nothing I love to do more than squish your legs and arms while kissing those cheeks. Thank you for choosing us to be your family. Thank you for bringing such a sweet spirit into our home. I love you!
Mom
Lately, I have looked at my “little” baby and realized that she isn’t so little anymore. She is getting so big. Sometimes it is hard to balance everything in life, as I am sure most of you can relate to. I know I am not a perfect mom, but I hope that I am everything that Harper needs me to be. I have been thinking a lot about moms in general. We totally rock. There is a lot that we have to juggle around in our everyday lives. Even though it may seem like most days, we don’t get most of it done, we still make an effort. Being a wife and a mom is hard work. Don’t let anyone let you think any differently. You are amazing.

So sweet! And I love what you said about moms: "We totally rock." Love it! Thanks for sharing this! And PS, I love that you call her Harper baby because we call Carter "Carter baby"! (I've probably told you that before actually. ha ha)
