Finding delicious Paleo approved desserts can be kind of tricky. It takes a lot of trial and error, but I have found some of my most favorite treats can be turned into paleo recipes! One of those treats is the beloved Disneyland Dole Whip. After a lot of different tests, I found the PERFECT combination to create a paleo Dole whip! Your friends or family members who aren’t eating with paleo guidelines will even approve of this tasty treat!
The sweet and sour flavors mix so beautifully together, I savor each and every bit of this goodness! After grabbing my recipe, don’t forget to scroll down to get 17 more Disney inspired recipes and even enter to win a southern California vacation for your family that can include (you guessed it) DISNEYLAND!
- 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
- 6 oz 100% pineapple juice (one small can)
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 3 tsp. lime juice
- Pinch of salt
- Put all of the ingredients in your blender or food processor and blend until it creates a thick ice cream/smoothie consistency. Pour and then devour!
I love that this is a treat that can be thrown together so quickly. I literally just throw it all in my Blendtec blender, push the ice cream cone button, let the blender do its magic, and enjoy!
I hope you love this treat just as much as I do! It has been a real lifesaver for the desperate times when I need a treat, but don’t want to give in and eat an entire bag of candy.
I want to know what your favorite Disney treat is! I teamed up with some incredibly talented bloggers to share their take on some of the Disney food favorites! Head over to each of their sites to grab those recipes as well!
