Sending my Happy Birthday wishes

Do they celebrate birthdays in heaven? Celebrating every year for eternity?

Wishing a very, Happy Birthday to my father in law, David. He would be 48 this year. We miss him everyday. I know that he is finally able to be free from his mortal body and is able to run and play with our future children up there. The picture of us at the wedding is one of my favorites. It reminds me of seeing you in the temple with my David and I. That was such a special moment.

Dave was the most intelligent man I have ever met. He could trick anyone while playing cards, and could tell the best stories.

Big David and Little David were quite the pair. Dave misses his dad so much, but I know that they will be reunited one day.

My birthday wish to you today, Big Dave, is for those Runnin’ Utes of yours to beat USC in their first Pac 12 game. I know you will be helping them out. If the Utes aren’t playing too hot (let’s be honest, our QB isn’t our favorite), my wish to you is that you can watch the game with our future babies and you can teach them to love those red wearing Utah players too.
